Discipleship Training School

A Discipleship Training School (or DTS for short) is a 5 month Christian discipleship school run by YWAM bases all over the world. The school is split into two halves: lecture phase and outreach phase. The lecture phase is 3 months of classes where every week we will discover a different topic such as: the nature and character of God, the Bible, hearing God’s voice, and many more. Growing us deeper in love with Jesus and His Word, helping us to understand who He is and who we are in Him, knowing our identity and purpose on this earth. The outreach phase is 2 months of missions! Taking what we learn in the lecture phase and putting it into practice to bless others and share God’s Gospel, Word, and love to the nations.

A DTS is a great opportunity to get to know God better together with a community of people who are hungry to do the same with you, and get a strong foundation for the rest of your life in whatever you do. It is also a great entryway into missions if you feel called to missions or ministry in any way. A DTS is the entry school into YWAM, opening up many more training schools and possibilities through the University of the Nations (YWAM’s university).

Upcoming Schools

We are currently running our June 2025 DTS. We don’t have a planned date for our next school at the moment, but we likely will do one at the beginning of next year (2026). So if you are interested in joining send us an email. If you don’t want to wait until next year for DTS we can also recommend other bases for you to do a DTS that is running this year.
